My daughter is about to start school at Rangikura this term which she is very excited about, it is such a big exciting chapter in her life so you will be seeing her around from Week 10 onwards.
I live with my husband Mr C, my daughter Chloe and my son Brax in Titahi Bay where I have lived for most of my life. We love being close to the beach, my family and all of the awesome things that Porirua offers a young family like ours.
I have taught in Porirua for 11 of the 14 years that I have been teaching. This is home and my children call it home. It is a place that I am proud of!
I took a break from New Zealand in 2005 and went to live in London for 3 years, teaching at West London Academy in Northolt. I really enjoyed my time living, travelling and teaching over there. I got to see a lot of the world and I made many amazing friends. In fact, I met Mr C over there too. In 2008 I headed home to Porirua and began teaching once again in the city that I love.
Teaching is what I am passionate about and is the reason that I couldn't be a full time stay at home Mum. My own children call my class my'other kids' they will always share me with them.
My classroom door is always open and I look forward to getting to know you all. Thank you for allowing your treasures to be in my class! It is a great honour to spend the next year with them and we have already kicked off the new school year with an awesome start.
